On June 8, 1991, Neil Joseph Tardio Jr. and Téa Leoni exchanged vows for the first time. However, after four years of marriage, the couple filed for divorce in October 1995.

Leoni later wed actor David Duchovny on May 6, 1997, marking her second marriage. The two remained single during their union.

They have two children: an elder daughter named Madelaine West Duchovny and a son named Kyd Miller Duchovny. The ex-couple also experienced a brief separation in 2008. After a few months, though, they made up.
