Sarah has battled with clinical depression her whole life, which, at one point had led to an addiction to Xanax. In her autobiography “The Bedwetter”, published in 2010, she talks about her bedwetting habits which continued well into her teens and other incidents of her life.
Her dating life has been in talks. She had been in a relationship with Dave Attell, her fellow SNL writer.
In 2002, Sarah began dating Jimmy Kimmel (yeah, the very famous late-night talk show host). She has talked about this relationship in several of her comedy. While it was reported that they had spilt in 2008, Silverman and Kimmel attended the wedding of Howard Stern and Beth Ostrosky. They ended things in 2009.
