Personal Life of Paul George

Paul and his now wife, Daniela Rajic had an almost dramatic start to their relationship. Paul was dating Callie Rivers when he met Rajic for the first time.

Rajic was impregnated by Paul who had allegedly offered her a million dollars to abort the baby. After the news of the affair was made public, Callie and Paul broke up.

Rajic had filed a paternity lawsuit against Paul. When it was confirmed that Paul was the father, they came to the wise decision of raising their daughter together.

Olivia was born.

Contrary to the popular belief (doing rounds on the gossip street) Paul and Rajic announced their second pregnancy in 2017. This time they fell for each other.

(Hey! Love has its way to be found even if it’s like an I-can’t-stand-you to I-would-do-anything-for-you trope). Little Natasha was born in 2017.

Rajic received a dreamy beach proposal from Paul in 2021.

The couple recently completed their sweet, private nuptial ceremony in 2022. They welcomed their son, Paul (third generation of Paul) in 2022.

Career of Paul George

While attending high school, Paul was the only non-senior on his varsity team and gained prominence as he competed in AAU tournaments. He had earned the title of the Golden League Most Valuable Player in his senior year.

What may come as an absolute buzzkill (after his performance) is the fact that Paul was not considered a major candidate by colleges. He ended up choosing Fresno State over other schools because of better opportunities for playing time.

Paul’s time with the Fresno State Bulldogs started on a positive note as they won the first match against Sacramento State. In the subsequent other matches, he impacted the audience with his one-handed slam dunk. He maintained his performance and led the Bulldogs to the quarterfinals in the 2009 WAC Tournament. Although the Bulldogs failed to qualify, Paul had made a then career-high 5 steals. He also had the opportunity to lead the Western Athletic Conference (WAC). He has been crowned the most entertaining player in the West region in his sophomore year.

The Fresno State retired number 24 (Paul’s number) on November 10, 2019.

In 2010, Paul decided to enter the NBA draft at the cost of two final seasons of college eligibility. He was picked tenth overall by the Indiana Pacers. On the first of July, 2010, Paul signed his rookie contract with the Pacers, guaranteeing 2 years deal of $3.9 million.

Paul had a blast of a debut where he showcased his defensive skills and was named NBA All-Rookie Second Team.

In the 2011-12 season, he made a name for himself as a high-flyer by participating in the Slam Dunk contest.

The 2012-13 season saw Paul’s exemplary skill on the court and he was named to the All-NBA Third Team.

The 2013-14 season saw the Pacers extend George’s contract and George proved his worth by playing fiercely for his team. He suffered an injury in the 2014-15 season and could only play 6 games for Indiana.

The 2015-16 season proved monumentous for Paul as he had the glorious opportunity to join the United States National Team for the 2016 Summer Olympics.

Paul concluded his time in Indiana in 2017 by assisting his team into the playoff for the 6th time in 7 seasons.

Paul was signed up by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2017-18 season and made a thunderous debut and finished it with the show of his flair.

His time with Oklahoma ended in 2019 when he was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers where his debut was hindered by a shoulder injury. His debut season with the Clippers was disappointing and the subsequent seasons weren’t as great either.

But hey, let’s not be disappointed.  PG-13 will hit back.
