He was first married to Kristin Richard. They were married from 1998 to 2003. Due to Armstrong’s chemotherapy, it’d have been difficult for him to father children. Therefore, he planned artificial insemination three years prior to his chemotherapy treatment. Today they have three healthy children.
He then dated singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow with whom he was engaged for a year but then they split up.

Career of Lance Armstrong
Armstrong started his athletic career by swimming when he was 12 years old. He started participating in Triathlon competitions at the age of 13. From an early age, he showed signs that he was gifted at this. Even as an amateur, he ranked higher than his competitors who were professionals.
This does not mean he has always won every race he competed at. There were times he’d give an average performance. One of his most impressive characteristics is his positive attitude. As an Olympic cyclist, he has seen many ups and downs.
It was in the year 1993 that Armstrong won his most important race ever. This was the World Road Race Championship in Oslo, Norway. He had to cover 161 miles in one day!! He was then the leader of the Motorola team and did his best to make his team win despite terrible weather conditions and injuries. He was the youngest person ever to win that.
Throughout his career, he has broken and set several records. The biggest setback in his career and life would be battling cancer. He was diagnosed with testicular cancer which had advanced. Later, doctors found a tumor in his brain as well. His survival then hit the lowest of 40% chance.
His recovery is a miracle. After surgeries and chemotherapy, he was declared cancer-free in February 1997. He never lost faith in himself and always believed that he’d be able to cycle again.
He came back to professional competitions and went on a winning streak. But there were always suspicions surrounding his wins after his recovery. These suspicions snowballed into legal cases until 2012 when Armstrong decided to stop fighting “for the sake of his family, foundation and himself”.
He was then stripped of all his wins from 1999 to 2005. Additionally, he was banned from cycling for life.
Awards & Achievements of Lance Armstrong
Lance Armstrong formerly held the title of seven times consecutive winner of the Tour de France from the year 1995 to 2005. Sadly his actions led him to be stripped of those medals and titles.
He has won other races too but it can never be known if there was any race he won, that was without registering steroids drugs in his body.
Major Investments and Assets of Lance Armstrong
His biggest investment to date would probably be his investment in Uber. This is a pretty funny story actually since he didn’t know what Uber was when he invested in it.
It is estimated that Armstrong reaped $30 million from his early investment of $100,000. Apart from this, currently, no other investments are known to the public.
Armstrong owns two houses- one in Texas and one in Colorado. He also owns a ranch in the Texas Hill Country.
