Personal Life of Jesy Nelson
Nelson was a happy little kid who loved herself, until she was up on the stage with Little Mix, performing like a true star.
The trolls had a lot to say about her body. It got so bad that Jesy, in 2013, attempted suicide. This shows the intensity of hatred. So don’t hate.
She would starve herself before shows, and binge eat later. She believes that her stress-induced alopecia had a lot to do with bullying.
Jesy has been accused of Blackfishing on several occasions over the years. She has been pointed at changing her appearance, thereby leading to accusations of cultural appropriation.
Jesy’s most talked about relationship is with Jake Roche. The couple got engaged but parted ways in 2016.

Career of Jesy Nelson
The 2011 edition of the X Factor witnessed Jesy Nelson’s amazing audition which got her through the audition round. However, she failed to pass the boot camp and was placed in a group “Faux Pas” with future Little Mix member Perrie Edwards.
Leigh-Anne, and Jade, meanwhile were in a different group. Little (see what I did there?) did they know that universe had other things in mind. Both groups failed to pass the boot camp.
The judges, however, realized that the four of them were too precious to let go. Thus was formed Little Mix (formerly named Rhythmix). With Tulisa Contostavlos as their mentor, Little Mix went on to create history by being the first-ever group to win The X Factor.
Jesy added her unique flair to the group, releasing 6 studio albums with multiple chart-topping hits. However, bullies (aka people who are jealous, and utterly uneducated) made it their mission to talk ill about Jesy. The time in Little Mix saw Jesy crumble under pressure, and hatred, and come back again, stronger than ever.
Her experience with trolls led her to release a documentary, Jest Nelson: Odd One Out, on BBC Three in the year 2019. This documentary deals with Jesy’s journey while facing brutal abuse from bullies.
The heart-wrenching documentary features her band members and shows how supportive they had been of Jesy. This moved many hearts.
It was in the last month of 2020, that Jesy announced that she would be leaving Little Mix owing to the unrealistic pressure of being a girl group, leaving fans around the world heartbroken.
