Chris Noth was born on November 13, 1954, as the youngest son to Jeanne Parr and Charles James Noth, his mother was a well-known female reporter for CBS News, she was also the host of her talk show ‘The Jeanne Parr Show’, and his father was vice president of a marketing company, Charles Noth also served as a naval aviator in World War 2.
Noth’s family moved to Connecticut and Noth grew up there while his parents used to work in New York City.
When he was 10 years old his parents got separated and it was a very bad experience in his life, a year after that another tragic incident happened between Noth and his mother, his father died in an accident soon after that Noth had very infuriating teen years and grew up in disturbing conditions, his mother sent him to an all-boys boarding school, Storm King School, where he started taking LSD, drugs, and marijuana.
Once Noth also took one of his neighbor’s car and crashed it into another neighbor’s house, after this, Noth got into a fight with his mother to send him to a coed school, his mother got him admission to the Dutchess County, New York which was a grade free art and experimental school, from here Noth started taking his teen life a bit seriously.
By the time Noth was 18, he was a troublesome kid with long hair, working at a mentally disabled school and living with his girlfriend in Brooklyn.
Noth Attended Marlboro College in Vermont after completing his graduation he aspired to become a poet and writer and studied English literature and religion and did join an acting class in repertory theatre outside of college, he is known for plays there such as ‘She Stoops To Conquer’, ‘The Zoo Story’ etc.

Chris Noth is married to Tara Wilson.
The couple started dating in 2001 when Tara was a Canadian model and pageant queen, later on, 2008 tara and Noth had a son, Orion Christopher Noth, after four years of their first child’s birth the couple tied the knot on April 6, 2012, and in 2020 they had their 2nd son, Keats Noth.
Noth had many in-and-out relationships during his 20s, one of the most talked about relationships of Noth was with actress Beverly Johnson, this relationship lasted five years and ended when Noth abused Beverly physically, mentally, and racially, Beverly also filed a restraining order against Noth in 1995.
Similarly, there were a few more cases of Noth for abuse and sexual assault, these allegations started growing from day to day, and even worse that Noth’s working life started falling when his commercials, big deals, his tequila company, and his roles in television was severely cut off or canceled.

Noth did several odd jobs and got fired from almost every place he worked before landing in television and series, he started working part times, acting in theatre, and attending classes all at the same time when he was doing his graduation from Yale School Of Drama.
He graduated and chose theatres over television but it ha hard to earn a living so he decided to jump on television, in 1986 he joined the Television series ‘Hill street Blues’, then he played a role in the theatre of Milwaukee and Seattle and suddenly he was out of television and totally in display in plays, during this time Noth got the attention of many newspapers and theatres including the New York Times, was nominated for Tony Award for Best Revival Of a Play and made his Broadway debut in 2000.
In 2005, he played at the theatre of Duke at Duke University, after that he got roles in the famous tv series ‘Sex and City’, And ‘Law and Order’ as Mike Logan but got fired in 1995 but again appeared in 1998 in the show’s movie.
