Inspired by the classic Monty Python, Trey was always into sketches and objective comedy. Being a shy kid with only passing grades comedy was his only getaway. He wrote and performed his first-ever sketch in his school talent show, named The Dentist. He played the role of the dentist and had one of his friends play the patient. As the show was a bit gore, and had some scenes involving fake blood, teachers called his parents, and recalling the memory Parker says that he remembers all the kindergarteners crying and started freaking out.
From a very young age, Parker was determined to make a career in the films and music. Later his interest grew in the animation being inspired by the legendary director, animator Terry Gilliam.
When he was only 14, he started making short films along with his friends with a video camera that his father had gifted him. The group continued making such short films till their graduation.
He also joined a Denver-based mountain community theater Evergreen Players and develop a love for musical theater. Personal Life of Trey Parker
Born in Conifer, Colorado; Parker’s parents Sharon and Randolph Parker were insurance saleswomen and geologists by profession. With no connection to the entertainment industry whatsoever, he is completely and truly a self-made artist.
In an edition of the ABC News program Nightline, Parker stated that though he believes in god and there are things unknown to humankind. All religion and rituals seem nothing but funny and poor writing to him.
As for his political views; he said that though he is not very political, he stands as a libertarian and both the extreme leftist and rightist people are quite similar to him.
In 2006 Parker married Emma Sugiyama. But the marriage ended in divorce shortly in 2008. Then she started dating Boogie Tillmon and later married her in 2014.

Though Parker started writing sketches, making short films, and community theater at a very young age, his first-ever production house was Avenging Conscience, named after a film by D.W Griffith that he and his other friends collectively hated. The first-ever production of them was ‘ Jesus vs Frosty’ released in 1992.
Later they released a three-minute trailer of a fictional film named Alferd Packer: The Musical. It got so famous among the students that the chairman of the university’s film department had to convince the group to make an extended version of it. They eventually crowd-funded and collected $125,000 to start shooting. Later after they sold the rights to Troma Entertainment in 1996 they rereleased it changing the name to Cannibal! The Musical has been labeled as a “cult classic”.
Coming on to the biggest hit of Parker’s ‘South park’, Parker and Stone made it with a budget of $300,000 using the age-old cut paper stop motion animation technique. The whole episode was animated in a small room of Celluloid Studios, in Denver, Colorado.
The show was so hyped up that Comedy Central earned $30 million selling only merchandise that too even before the pilot episode aired. As the first six episodes got massive success, Comedy Central requested for seven more and ended the first season in 1998.
