Shirley Jones was born to mother, Majorie William, and father, Paul Jones, in 1934 in Pennsylvania. She is a single child, reserving all her parents’ love for herself.
She married an American actor, singer and theatre director, Jack Cassidy in 1956 but she divorced him in 1975 because he suffered from bipolar disorder which made it hard for her to be by his side. They have three sons together- Shaun, Patrick and Ryan.
After nearly two years of her divorce, Shirley married the popular American comedian and actor, Marty Ingels. They were together until Ingels’s death in 2015 but they have no children.
She is also ex-stepmother to the late American actor, singer and songwriter, David Cassidy. They were known to be close to each other and have filmed together in the past.
