When Randy Travis got a job as a cook and a singer at “Country City Club”, he met the owner Elizabeth Hatcher. As it was destined, both of them fell in love hard and fast.

In 1978, along with the beginning of his career, Randy Travis began his family as well.

In 1991, despite having an age gap of over 15 years, Randy Travis tied the knot to Elizabeth Hatcher. They ended their marriage in the fall of 2010.

Five years later, Randy Travis got married to Mary Davis. The country music star is leading a happy life with his better half.

Randy Travis’ official musical career began in 1985 when he released his first single “On the Other Hand” followed by “1982” off of his debut album “Storms of Life”.

“Storms of Life” was released in 1986. Most of the songs from this album became chart toppers. This album went on to sell more than 3 million records and was one of the most successful albums of that year.

In the summer of 1987, Randy Travis released his second album with Warner Bros “Always and Forever”. Just like “Storms of Life”, his second album became a superhit album too and Randy Travis became a Country music fame.

He went on to release “An Old Time Christmas” in 1989. This was a Christmas album and the third official album credited under the name of Randy Travis.
