Personal Life of Mohan Babu
Mohan Babu grew up in a family of 6, with his sister Vijaya and his brothers Ramachandra, Ranganatha, Krishna. They all had a close-knit bond and they continue to maintain so till now as well.
Even though his parents might’ve wanted something different from him in the beginning, they never failed to support him in whatever decision that he took for himself.
He was married to Vidya Devi, a person who didn’t belong to the film industry. Together they have two exceptionally talented children named Manchu Vishnu and Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna.
Vidya Devi died an early death and the family was devastated, to say the least. Their children continue to strive and make their own identity in the film industry.
After his first wife’s death, Mohan Babu found love again in his sister Nirmala Devi. With her, he has a son named Manchu Manoj, who is also an actor by profession.

Mohan Babu graduated from his alma mater with a degree in physical education and decided to start his job as an instructor there. He did that for some years till he finally got to experience the much-awaited euphoria and desire of his to star in a movie.
He was ready to do whatever it takes to fulfill his dream of being a part of the film fraternity, for which he left no stone unturned to search for opportunities. He finally got an opportunity in Chennai in 1969 where he was a major part of the production and direction team for around a period of 5 years.
His unquenchable thirst for acting landed him his first role in 1974, where he played minor roles in movies like Alluri Seetha Rama Raju and Kannavari Kalalu. His first breakthrough as an antagonist was in the movie Swargam Narakam, which went on to do amazing with the crowd.
