At the beginning of his career, he had a brief fling with Hope Wilson. Hope gave birth to a daughter in 1998.
After breaking up with Hope, Emmitt managed to find love again. This time with former Miss Virginia USA Patricia Southall. The Pageant Queen and the footballer tied the knot in the summer of 2000.

Emmitt Smith enrolled in the University of Florida in 1987. After joining the University, the first thing he did was join the “Gators Football Team” coached by Galen Hall.

Emmitt Smith was back for his last season with the “Gators Football Team” in 1989. Emmitt went on to break numerous records and became the front-running candidate for the 1990’s NFL Draft.

Emmitt Smith opened the 1995 season by smashing records and scoring 25 touchdowns in a game. In the next season, he scored his 100th touchdown and ran 10,000 yards. Emmitt Smith was the youngest player to achieve this milestone.
