Shepard has always been vocal about his personal life. He met Kristen Bell at a birthday party of a friend in common. They fell in love and dated each other in 2007.
They even worked together in a romantic comedy movie named When In Rome. He proposed his bride to be Kristen Bell and made him wear the ring at the ‘Grammy Awards 2010’.
