Personal Life of Sean Payton
Sean’s pursuits were always supported by his parents and his endeavors always bore fruits of success due to their motivation and immense support. He married Beth Shuey after their relationship began during their college years.
They have 2 children together, with the elder of the duo being Meghan and their younger child being Connor.
The couple eventually separated in the year 2012, with the finalization of the process happening in the year 2014.
Career of Sean Payton
Football had always been something that he was intensely passionate and interested in. His initial plan was to become a football player for the NFL.
He didn’t get drafted, however, he did play for well-reputed teams like the Chicago Bruisers, Pittsburgh Gladiators, Chavgo Bears, etc. His final game as a player was with the Leicester Panthers, after which he took to coaching as a profession into consideration.
He got the job of offensive assistant coach in the year 1988. It was a much sought-after position at the University of San Francisco.
He earned a good name for himself and jumped from one university to the other for quite a time. He enjoyed the position of a coach in places like the University of Miami, University of Indiana, University of Illinois, etc.
Then he took to individual coaching and the famous player Michael Faulk was coached by him for roughly a year.
