Elizabeth met her love and her future husband Prince Philip, at the Royal Naval College in 1939. The Queen was only 13 years old but fell in love with the charismatic young man, who was a former Prince of Denmark and Greece, and a member of the English Royal Navy. They grew up, knowing each other.
