For a person who makes a living out of online gaming, thereby spending a whole lot of time on the internet, Dr. DisRespect has kept his personal life under wraps exceptionally well.
However, we do have information!
Beahm tied the knot with Mrs. Assassin in 2013 (can you name a couple with names this cool? Go ahead try it!). They share a daughter.
However, things went south in 2017 when reports of Beahm cheating on his wife surfaced. His wife suffered a subsequent miscarriage. All of this together kind of forced him to make an apology to the public, and he took some time off to work on his marriage. He was successful in doing so.
A rather terrifying incident occurred in 2018 when his house was shot at. Luckily, no one was hurt. According to the reports, it was the second time someone shot at his house.
Career of Dr. Disrespect
In the first month of 2010, YouTube received Disrespect’s first video “Dr. DisRespect Gaming: The Docs Very 1st Video”. He gained a tribe given his over-the-top looks (mustaches and sunglasses), which exuded an 80s rock star vibe. He mostly played “Call of Duty”. Machinima featured him in a lot of their videos.
However, Beahm disappeared off the face of YouTube in 2011 and didn’t reappear for good 5 years.
In 2011, Sledgehammer Gamers designated Beahm as their community manager. A skilled multi-player online gamer, Beahm was offered the chance (by Xbox) to indulge in verbal conversations with other online players. It was then the legendary Dr. DisRespect came to being. An over-enthusiastic, boastful personality that turned out to be loved by me.
During his time with Sledgehammer, he helped them develop many player maps of “Call of Duty: Advanced Welfare”. Around this time, he joined Twitch.
2015 was a turning point in his career as he let go of his job to make full-time content on Twitch. This proved to be an excellent decision as his fanbase witnessed a geometric progression.
He started playing battle royale games like “H1Z1”, and “Fortnite Battle Royale”. Gradually he moved to “PlayerUnknown’s Battleground” (our very own beloved PUBG) and then to “Call of Duty: Black Ops 4” (his reported best performance was from COD). He had to take a break from streaming owing to family issues in 2017.
